Honda in America

Discover the company behind the car. While many are familiar with Honda's vehicles, few grasp the vast extent of its influence within the United States. Honda In America aims to shed light on the company's expansive footprint and its significant contribution to the national economy.

In collaboration with Grafik and Honda in America, I had the privilege of crafting a gatefold brochure titled "How to Make a Honda in America," a visual narrative that celebrates Honda's enduring commitment to American manufacturing. With each fold, the brochure reveals a journey guided by Honda's core values of innovation, integrity, and customer-centricity.

At its core,

the brochure is a testament to Honda's pioneering spirit, tracing the company's evolution from its first American manufacturing plant in 1982 to its status as a cornerstone of the U.S. automotive industry. Through a series of meticulously crafted steps—from investment and hiring to growth, innovation, and export—the brochure showcases Honda's unwavering dedication to building products close to its customers.

The design language, characterized by a bold yet understated color palette of red, white, and grey, pays homage to Honda's iconic brand identity while infusing the narrative with a sense of timelessness and sophistication. Through carefully curated iconography and imagery, the brochure serves as a visual roadmap, guiding readers through Honda's expansive manufacturing footprint across the United States.

What sets this project apart is its reach and impact—the brochure's placement in every Honda dealership nationwide for a year underscores its significance as a vehicle for storytelling and education. It was a joy to translate Honda's rich history and ethos into a tangible, immersive experience, and an honor to play a part in sharing their remarkable journey with the world.
